death receptors

death receptors
Superfamily of tumour necrosis factor receptors including TNF-R1, CD95, TRAMP, that trigger apoptotic cell death through interaction of various adapter proteins (FADD, TRADD etc.) with their cytoplasmic death domains. These adaptors then interact with caspases such as FLICE.
